Data to Policy Navigator: Here’s what AI now makes possible

AI meets policy advice—the updated Data to Policy Navigator introduces artificial intelligence (AI). New case studies from Mexico, Portugal, and Bulgaria show: AI can improve data-based decisions. But where are the limits? Take a look at the most interesting developments!
The Data to Policy Navigator, developed by UNDP and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Econimic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has been enhanced to strengthen its focus on artificial intelligence. AI-related topics are now integrated throughout the platform, introducing policymakers to different forms of AI and how they can be applied to policymaking for more evidence-informed decisions.
New AI-focused use cases are now available, featuring Data2Policy’s application of machine learning and spatial intelligence in Mexico City, as well as two cases from AI4PublicPolicy highlighting work in Portugal and Bulgaria. The Navigator will continue to expand throughout the year, further embedding AI into its resources.
