Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM)

As the working group of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Federal Employment Agency (BA), CIM has been bringing together development and labour market expertise since 1980. The CIM places experts from the EU – and others experts from outside Europe who have settled in Germany – in developing countries and emerging economies, offers a network for those who have migrated to Germany and who wish to support development in their country of origin and advises individuals and political decision-makers on migration issues.
